Painter, filmmaker and blonde art exhibit, ‘Andrewa Warhola’ was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA. Despite having to support his Czech immigrant family after dad was killed in a mining accident, Andy got himself an art BA then ‘frankensteined’ off in his high rise footwear to New York in 1949, where he firmly wedged his feet in the commercial art world’s door, drawing footwear pics for shoe-off fashion mags like Vogue, Bazaar (and What Clog).
