Mairi is passionately curious about the way we react to, and express our relationships with the environment around us and her curiousity is expressed through her work.
Already a graduate in English Literature, Mairi was more recently awarded with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. Mairi is currently on the first leg of a year long round the world trip.
Her most recent work is concerned with how we relate to the natural environment which she sees as something we are intrinsically part of but are increasingly alienated from in today's mechanised society.
She believes that her travels will be a great source of inspiration for her future work.
