Katherine is a young Scottish Artist currently resident in Edinburgh. Since completing her degree in Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art in 2003, she has been working as a Freelance Illustrator and Painter. Working mainly in oils on board, her work ranges from Landscape and Figurative pieces (including Portraiture) to Fantasy and Science-Fiction Illustration. Katherine's work has been described as 'always possesing a powerful emotive presence'.
Her illustrative works have been published internationally in 'Aphrodisia: Showcasing the Art of the Female Form' and for several years in succession in the annual 'Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art'. Her paintings have also been exhibited internationally, most recently at the first Conflux International Art Show held at the National Museum of Australia.
